ABOUT US

      Hi! My name is Christina Mitvitnikoff, aka Tina, and this is Emma, my 7 year old Standard Poodle. I am a professional dog groomer, grooming close to 20 years now. I started out at PetSmart, receiving my training at the Paragon School of Pet Grooming in Michigan under the tutelage of Melissa Verplank, author of Notes from the Grooming Table, and her talented grooming staff. I have worked at several different grooming salons giving me the experience needed to open my own business, The FUR-ologist's LAB-oratory. The FUR LAB is fully licensed and vetted by the city of Valdez. I offer full service dog grooming out the house I live in, hoping to expand into a separate location with additional groomers. 

      

      In addition to my grooming training, I also attended Auguste Escoffier School Of Culinary Arts where I participated in their pastry program. I found a love of decorating while working at Woofgang Bakery & Grooming in Austin, Texas where we baked and decorated custom baked goods for dogs.
